When severely weakened, Lucifer manifests as a bright form of white smoke. His wings were revealed to be massive in size in comparison to Castiel's; unlike those of standard angels, Lucifer's wings arc outwards instead of upwards and are not broken like the majority of his siblings. Uniquely, Lucifer's eyes glow red instead of blue. While possessing a vessel, Lucifer usually retains the vessel's appearance without altering it. His 2014 alternate counterpart however, dressed Sam in an all-white suit and combed his hair back. After possessing Vince Vincente, Lucifer made an exception and chose to re-dress Vince in black clothing, topped with a leather jacket. After escaping imprisonment from Crowley, Lucifer finally decides to change Nick's attire, doning a leather jacket as he did with Vince. Outside a vessel but within Hell or someone's mind, Lucifer usually takes the form of his first known vessel, Nick. the personality Overall Personality • Lucifer was once the most beautiful and beloved Archangel in all of existence. God loved Lucifer the most of all his angels. Because of his elevated status among the other angels, Lucifer was very proud. When humanity was created, due to the Mark of Cain corrupting him into jealousy, he was unwilling to accept that he was no longer God's favorite. When God commanded all those of Heaven to love his new creation more than himself, Lucifer refused. Lucifer pleaded: "Father, I can't. These human beings are flawed. Murderous!" Lucifer continued his disobedience, asking Michael to stand by his side in his rebellion against God's orders. Michael refused Lucifer's request, and under God's command, Michael cast Lucifer into Hell. When Lucifer returned to Heaven, he listed the Salem witch trials, Nazi Germany, the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the 9/11 attacks as proof of mankind's unworthiness. Naturally, being cast out of Heaven enraged Lucifer, and he struck back by tempting and twisting the soul of a human woman, Lilith. After completely stripping her of her humanity, her soul was transformed into the very first demon. Because of this unforgivable blasphemy against God, Lucifer was further punished by being placed into an additional solitary imprisonment within Hell. He remained there in isolation for a millennium. Lucifer's long term goal was to eventually be freed from the Cage, eradicate humanity, and restore Earth to its original "untainted" glory. It is suggested that Lucifer only uses demons as servants and would eradicate all of them as well, because, despite them being his creations, he considers demons to be even less worthy than humans. Proof of this is shown when he casually kills dozens of them. However, he holds his greatest contempt for Pagan Gods, believing them to be petty, disloyal, and the lowest of all beings because they claim to be gods. Lucifer claims that he never lies or even tricks, because he does not have to, as he has said, "I will never lie to you. I will never trick you." He promised both his vessels, Nick and Sam Winchester, that he would be honest with them. He also said that he sympathizes with his vessels, both of whom are victims like himself. He went to some lengths to get Sam's acceptance, sparing Dean Winchester's life on several occasions, and allowing Sam revenge against some of the demons that controlled his life. Despite this, Lucifer is largely manipulative and has been proven to mislead on occasion, suggesting that this was more of a ploy to gain trust, rather than an actual commitment, and he would bend this rule when it's to his advantage. Furthermore, Lucifer tries to gain sympathy from his opponents such as Dean by claiming that he is truly a victim and was justified in his actions. the history Being God's favorite wasn't always so when it came to Lucifer, the moment God said to the Angels in heaven that they should bow before mankind Lucifer took that as an insult and quickly turned away from heaven and God's eyes. Who was he to bow before a broken species, a species whom had no control on whom they murdered or whom they cared for, he despised the human race, and he left heaven and fell from grace to be his own ruler. Although his followers fell with him some of them didn't stay loyal to him and went off on their own, making new followers of their own, Lucifer of course did not abide any of this but he had much more problems to attend too. Such as deceiving the human race into following him, placing false ideas into their minds that their wasn't a God and that if their was a God then why would he allow so much suffering within the world when he could make it stop with a flick of his wrist. This of course angered God to the point of out casting him from heaven for as long as it takes, making it clear that he wasn't deemed worthy of God's grace any longer. With being imprisoned within the cage Lucifer would remain there until the chains were broken, least for him he had a few loyal followers whom aimed to free him from his cage. Only sixty six seals remained to be unlocked until the devil himself could escape his prison cell, and being that his followers unlocked all sixty six with the last seal being broken by none other then his true vessel Sam Winchester he was free to roam the earth and to succeed in his next mission on making him his vessel. Although Sam refused him the first time around he was determined enough that one day he would say yes, and until that day he would give his life hell, literally. On the verge of the starting apocalypse Lucifer managed to convince himself a vessel and took over Nick's body as a temporary vessel, Some days after that, Lucifer appeared to Sam in the form of his deceased girlfriend Jessica Moore, telling him that no matter how many times he ran away he will always be part of the supernatural, people who get close to him will get killed, and that there is no hope for him. The next night he appeared to Sam as Jessica once again, but when Sam said there was hope for him, Lucifer dropped the masquerade and appeared in Nick's form and told Sam that Nick was simply a "plan B" because Sam was his true vessel. Lucifer states that he will never lie or trick Sam into saying Yes, but he will do so willingly, before disappearing. Role Play Sample • With not knowing how long this alliance with his father would last it was particularly hard for the devil to keep up this good act, after so many centuries with being the bad, and the most evil being the world has ever faced, Lucifer had an image to maintain. If word got out that he was suddenly daddy's little favorite fallen angel again, he would need to keep up his image in tip top condition, after all their was only one true king of hell and that certainly was not a half assed imp named Crowley. Although he was on good terms with his father for the time being, he did manage to hear through the grape vine that a few of his demons spotted a familiar face, one that had been dead for many years, suddenly had shown back up. With not knowing what to have thought about this he didn't bother asking God first, knowing he'd get a half assed answer and a shrug, no. This was one of those times where he needed to get the answer for himself, so with slipping out he placed on a disguise of a rather dweebish boy look whom appeared to be frail and innocent as he entered a club, his brother did love the party scene and with all in good reason. Slicking his hair back he entered the club with a smirk, his eyes roaming the scene as he casually looked around the club. He knew what types of people Gabriel liked to mess around with, so his disguise would give him more then enough to work something out for a few hoots and hollers. Taking a seat at the bar he rose his hand up at the bartender whom looked at him, and then disregarded him flat out as he kept talking to another customer at the bar. If this was any other instance, Lucifer would have no tolerance for such behavior but instead kept up with his quirky act. "Excuse me sir, I would like a gin atonic water and don't make it too strong. I need to study for a pop quiz tomorrow." he told the bartender whom gave him a face but started to mix his drink anyways, due to wanting to rid himself from having to deal with his dweeb like self. His hands clutching the drink tightly he looked around the bar before his eyes spotted Gabriel towards the back, he noticed his eyes darted away quickly from his stare, knowing that he had been quietly observing him. This caused him to smirk softly as he then took another drink of his bland drink, and then holding his hand up to his head as he pointed at the bartender. "I told you not to make it strong." he shouted as he placed the drink back down in disgust, shaking his head and turning away from the bar. His eyes slowly traveled back to where he had seen Gabe and this time he kept his eye contact with the Angel, his eyes furrowed as he pointed at him. "What ya staring at, prick?" he called him out as he then waved him off, trying to rile the trickster up. Anything to get him riled up, before he would reveal whom he messed with, after all.
